What We Collect
The Sigilla Chrome Extension collects the following data only when you explicitly choose to save content:
- URLs of pages you choose to save
- Page titles of saved content
- Authentication token to keep you logged in
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your browsing history
- Pages you visit but don't save
- Analytics or tracking data
- Location data
- Personal information beyond your email (for account access)
How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data exclusively to:
- Save web pages to your Sigilla account
- Keep you authenticated between sessions
- Sync your saved content across devices
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with the following protections:
- Encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
- Stored on secure European servers
- Only accessible by you through your account
- Authentication tokens stored locally in your browser
Third Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Period.
The only external service we use is Supabase for secure data storage, which is covered by their own privacy policy.
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Export all your saved content at any time
- Delete individual saved items
- Delete your entire account and all associated data
- Request a copy of all data we have about you
Extension Permissions
The extension requests these permissions:
- activeTab: To read the URL and title of the page you want to save
- storage: To store your authentication token locally
These permissions are only used when you explicitly click the extension icon to save content.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
